This full-time Account Representative Sales role is conveniently located in Irving - Las Colinas. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for identifying prospects, managing a sales funnel, designing sales strategies, developing & working leads, networking, setting daily/weekly & monthly goals, educating prospects, cultivating relationships with customers, identifying & uncovering additional needs. You will also collaborate with other office team members to role play, build new skills and develop abilities that will last a lifetime.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS
- Must be located in Texas, eligible for employment in the U.S. and able to commute to work in office daily Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30.
- Must obtain a Texas Insurance License prior to starting. Exam materials & license fee is reimbursable. Bonuses available for passing exams. General Lines Producer's Licenses Include
- Property & Casualty License and
- Life & Health License (completed within 90 days of employment start date)
- Must be willing to terminate other active insurance carrier appointments.
- Willing to have what could be uncomfortable conversations about life & health insurance during every customer interaction.
- Undeterred by rejection or failure - a growth mindset.
- Goal-oriented, competitive and self-motivated.
- Meet or exceed daily sales activities (calls, quotes, talk-time, product sales)
- Comfortable making 100+ phone calls per day or able to discuss insurance with prospects for 2+ hours per day
- Sincere, energetic & outgoing personality.
- Basic knowledge of insurance and insurance products - a willingness to learn more about the industry & State Farm product offerings.
- Coachable - a desire to learn & follow proven methods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills > ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make 100+ outbound sales calls & texts OR discuss insurance with prospects for 2+ hours OR provide 6+ household quotes.
- Complete daily sales tasks & actively prospect for additional life, health & investment opportunities.
- Execute office systems & processes with discipline and consistency.
- Actively pursue additional opportunities through referrals & your personal network.
- Note new leads provided daily by Agent but you are expected to also ask for referrals & leverage personal network to grow your sales pipeline.
- Prepare detailed prospect notes & reminders within CRM software.
Compensation $52,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
